This is the fourth installment in Clase Azul’s Nuestros Recuerdos series, each inspired by different aspects of the Día de Muertos tradition. For 2024, the focus is on music, represented through sensory “chords” that evoke nostalgia and honor Mexican culture. Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco uses the nuanced flavors of peat and sweetness, reminiscent of the offerings and sounds that fill the air during Día de Muertos celebrations.
The plum-colored decanter features illustrations by Mexican artist David Espinosa and showcases a golden musical ensemble of skeletons and masked revelers. The 24-karat gold Catrina figurine adds a lively touch, echoing the joyous spirit of the holiday with movable limbs that bring the figure’s accordion-playing to life
